I would critique your on grammar, but there is no way in hell you know what the quality of the shirts are. I had one this year and it was perfect. I would pick up the mint and black tee if shipping wasn't $33 to Canada.

i ripped my moment pants... all the magnets in the pockets are gone, they aren't as waterproof as my 4 year old 15k/15k sessions jacket.

and i only used them half a season.

not saying FD is better, Id never wear that shit, but Moment doesn't make the highest quality outerwear.

i think shipping rates just went up, Now it is $48.50, that's breaking my balls, so it's like $75 for 1 with shipping, i have no clue why 1 shirt is $48.50 of shipping

So First Drop fucked up, Saga had to delay shipping like three times last season because they fucked up. Saga has had six years in the making so there shit is awesome. First Drop is going on its third year, and last year had some nice gear i thought. I will admit this year for First Drop is gay as hell, and im really disapointed. I think they should bring back some color schemes from last year and apply the design of this year to those: blue and black would be sick as shit in this design, blue and yellow would look great, the orange and black suit would be alright, and the digi-camo is a little wierd didn't really get that.

shut the fuck up, everyone knows by now that your just trying to get a free suit out of them so you can "see if it holds up" I mean why the hell else would you want a suit if you really hate them? And if you don't like them then just get the hell out of this thread. Props Fd for putting up with all this bullshit, and whatever you do, don't give in to that guy and send him a suit, if he really doesn't like you then he wouldn't want a suit from you. Anyone else noticing that?

personally, no, but i have heard enough.

I tried on my friends jacket, hated it. His zipper exploded while he was zipping it in the gondola, with no extra force.

For all of you who think First Drop is amazing, have you had any experience with other freeskiing outerwear brands like Orage or Saga? Because from what I have seen, the only people who like FD are the people who have never owned anything else.

i have, but i only have fd hoodies, both work fine, my friend has a fd hoodie and shirt both held up great, but i know a few kids who LOVE there fd suit and another that ripped his fd pants cuz he fell on a rail, but that kid said he liked his fd better than his old saga, so my personal experience with fd has been good

Last season i has a pair of pants from Saga Ldc and Firstdrop. Not all at the same time but yeah. The saga was 09/10 and the Fd and ldc were 10/11.

The saga got ripped to shit down by the cuffs it was like there was almost no reinforcement there what so ever. Also the waist adjustment pull tab ripped right out of the pants. I liked the outer and inner vents and the fit but the quality just wasnt there. My jacket fuzzed a ton and the jacket zipper on the top right came unattached from the fabric and had to be sewn back together. also the hood was f'd the button would never keep it down and the black lining would always puff out and get in my face huuge annoyance. I know 10/11 stuff was stepped up from that just saying my experiance.

The LDC has held up the best for me. The fit is sexy and with the new buttons they put in there are no more magnets falling everywhere. The reinforced cuffs are exactly what i need for hiking when i dont feel like rolling up my pants. The jacket i had the stiching came undone from the zipper to the jacket which was an annoyance but also my fault because i got XLT when im only 5'10 i know im a dumbass.


Now for my FD. I only had pants opposed to the other two brands where i had full suits. But the pants held up to ym expectations. they kept me warm when i needed it and cool when i wanted it. There were no problems with stitching or massive ripping as other people have claimed to have. I got a lot of litte rips on the cuffs becasue i never rolled them up. and I also had both zipper pulls on the cuff adjusters break. But again that was my fault for doing 50/50 slides and smashing them on metal rails. If i hadnt have sold them to get LDC i have no doubt in my mind they wouldve lasted me my whole season. They were used for about 80 days.

i personally love what u guys are ding i have last years pants and if 11/12 are better im gunna buy 3 pairs haha cuz they would be the most comfy thing on my legs ever i love everything about first drop the other companies are making alot of shells first drop is like wearing a down comforter on your legs thats water proof so i think u people who have never PERSONALLY worn the outerwear should buy a pair see what u think they feel free to make YOUR honest opinion thats all i have to say about this thread.
