From the past 2 years, I don't think it has changed. That's what people said last year. People thought FD changed, but it didn't. I'm not holding my breath. I'm sticking to reliable companies.

It actually did you know. My pants held up all season with the only problems being cuff scrapes and a broken zipper pull which was my fault. I used them probably 80 or so times riding park, trees, and whatever pow the EC gets.
FD hate is the new Kangbang hate. You should understand more than anyone. People just follow the trend who have never personally used FD and just hate hate hate.

For example a post looking like:
Kangbang your such a jiberish whore stop sucking there dick.

Its stupid and people only say it because they've seen other people saying the same thing. I know your not a jiberish whore and have very few pieces.

So what I'm trying to get at here for everyone is..
Go buy some FDwear use it for a season. Give a solid review of your gear including pictures of gear and whatnot. If you really have a legit reason fine. But to everyone else who deosnt know shit screw off.

there first 2 years in business, they got really popular last year, this year there making changes for the better, if your sticking to a reliable company and your heart is soooo set on eveything but first drop why are you even posting in this thread

and its a skiers company, we are a skiing community we should at least support them in what there trying to do, im not saying eveyone should be a suit, but i think people should be open to the fact the fd is trying to change

Ok. They should kinda follow Saga's progression in the industry. By that I mean don't waste money on products (jeans, polo's, hoodies etc.) until they have a good, reliable, strong outerwear suit. Then start on clothing. Saga has been around for about 6 years I think, and they just started to make clothing this past year. I don't like FD because not only are they thinking of stupid product idea's (shoes, polo's with different coloured arms), they have yet to prove good outerwear that most people won't complain about.

I know im going to get hate for this and "well those are way different" but still.

I really think that this hate on FD is unfair, they made the effort to change their factory and apparently their construction also and they deserve a lot more respect. From 09/10 to 10/11 they made huge changes, and im excited to see what this years will be like.

Id just like throw out some comparisons as far as straight up designs . Before the haters shoot this down, take some time to look at all the similarities and read FD's new changes for 2011/12 on their site.

im anticipating no one will read what I just typed anyway.

It doesn't look like the Dumont suit that much, but it has its similarities. Looks like this past years but with slight changes.

I really believe that it looks very similar to the jackets that I posted (jackets that were at least LIKED on NS). Also, although I agree with you that it is pretty similar to last years...its the small changes that can really make something better.

and if they are serious about their new changes in fabric/stitching/ factory change (and due to the fact that they are pretty involved in NS and constantly see all these complaints and were able to make the changes based on those complaints, I really think genuine changes were made) then the new product should be leaps and bounds ahead of any other year.

I saw a post from them saying that they have never gotten and e-mail or read any complaints about their outerwear. Kinda weird since my friend messaged them complaining.

Well, that's really the only similarities in them. The only thing that is like 90% similar is the right sleeve on the FD and the sleeves on the Orage. Nothing else looks at all similar besides the fact that they are black and white.

yeah I know exactly what your saying..but also look at the chest...just like on the corked and the TJ pro, one half is black and the other is white to some point, also they both have the contrasting pockets (white pockets on black side black pockets on white side).

I know that its still a pretty basic comparison, but I still feel like if orage/armada/oakley/any other freeski brand put their logo on this then it would be getting a lot better feedback.

We really worked hard this year to increase the quality of everything we are making, and are proud to have all new factories for every product, new fabrics, refined sizing, better accessories, you name it. Our new factory is amazing- laser cut logos, perfect stitching, bigger stronger zippers, everything is a HUGE step up.

We also have a new warehouse with full time shippers to make sure orders are shipped out quickly and correctly.

Although we continue to get some hate from a select few on NS, we'll continue to do everything possible to prove to the NS community we deserve your business and respect. this kinda... the material in my brothers 2011 suit felt the exact same as my 2010 pink pants, but the stitching actually held up. Im actually pretty stoked on the green and grey suits this year, might pick up a pair of pants after better pics are up

My moment suit has a simple design. My suit doesn't have a design on it that looks like a blind person made. My suit have 3 colours in a simple slanted design.

Like I said. It was my fault. Other than my jacket ripping, I haven't heard anything bad about Moment outerwear. FD has the odd suit that won't rip. That's like finding a hooker with no STD's.

This is because there are a lot fewer owners of moment stuff than FD stuff. Not saying moment is bad because im sure it isnt but your mosre likely to hear a first drop damage story than a moment one because less people own moment suits.
