Five easy steps to success.

One: Look around the internet, and look at all the jib boots/freeride boots there are. Find one you think looks cool.

Two: Go to your local shop, and ask them what range of flex is best for you. If the flex matches with that of the boot you like, try it on. If it fits right, which any certified boot fitter will be able to tell you, then buy them on the spot if they are a price you can afford. If not, check the internet.

Three: If the flex does not match, then ask the boot fitter to recommend another freeride boot in your flex range. Try all his suggestions, and then rule out the cool factor. Going by what fits is the most important factor. Find a boot that fits you well at your shop, and then look around the internet for it, if the shop price is too high for you.

(Step Two is pretty much the best scenario possible. Of course, everyone wants boots that they think are cool. However, Fit is far more important that looks. Go by fit. Pants will cover up the boot most of the time anyway, so looks don't matter on the hill.)
