So I have been trying to think of a way to make a flotation device to attach to my gopro. I was thinking like lacing a string through the gopro case and then onto something floaty.. anyone else have any input or ideas or even things like this that have worked? +K for help!
a friend of mine cut up a piece of pool noodle about the size of the gopro and he attaches it to the case with tie-raps, he says it works like a charm for wakeboarding .....
There are actually plenty of things made for this if you're willing to pay 10 bucks or so (which is definitely worth the extra camera insurance). I'm on my phone so I'm sorry that I cant make this link clicky http://www.chums.com/category/water-sports-keychains/product/camera-float if you google "camera floaters" or "camera float straps" you will find many similar products designed specifically to keep cameras afloat. hope this helps
