GoPro Flotation device

So I have been trying to think of a way to make a flotation device to attach to my gopro. I was thinking like lacing a string through the gopro case and then onto something floaty.. anyone else have any input or ideas or even things like this that have worked? +K for help!

Yeah just do that and tie it to like a 4 inch long pice of pool noodle

sounds like a good idea. test it out in a bath tub or a small pool before you bring out to the ocean/lake

what is it youre using it for? we have been using one on the board while wakeboarding and just tie it to the boot laces, or our follow cam tube

a friend of mine cut up a piece of pool noodle about the size of the gopro and he attaches it to the case with tie-raps, he says it works like a charm for wakeboarding .....

There are actually plenty of things made for this if you're willing to pay 10 bucks or so (which is definitely worth the extra camera insurance).
