for quite a few reasons:
opening game was oct 7 and the stanley cup was lifted june 15th. thats eight months including over 2400 gmaes played in total. not including the 90 playoff games.
next week is the nhl awards, which is always a good watch.
and again next week is the draft, which will goo all weekend and supply some good procrastination research to see whos who.
and then on july 1st free agency opens up and with names like shea weber, zach parise, brad richards and ilya bryzgalov, will make for some interesting signings.
and then in about three months, hockey is back.
thought id just give a little timeline for all those puck heads here that cant wait for next season to start like myself....
