Picking out a Ski.

It's close to that time...Close to the when I have a birthday.


I need help choosing out a ski. I'm about 5'11ish, 180lbs.

I've been skiing for 1 year, and ski 50/50 park/all mtn. I love on the East Coast (North Carolina, Usa).

I had Afterbangs last year, but I'm not really sure if I like a stiff or soft ski (Only ridden the Abangs so far). Don't really want to spend more that $400.









Suggestions?

volkl walls 2010.(don't know about the 2011) awesome ski I live in Maryland and ski up in Pennsylvania and they have worked great for me plus I think they are like 460 dollars now so it won't dent your cash flow to bad. good luck my man

If you're looking for a great park/all mountain ski, the line chronic is supposed to be really good. 92 waist is still amazing for park, but you get extra crud busting ability. They say it's super stiff and solid, but upon flexing it, it's more of a nice, even mid flex. This and last year's skis are all around $400 depending on where you buy it. Next year's ski is around $500 retail, but I'm sure you could find cheaper.

surface double times or watch lifes would be rad! would be able to slay both the park and the mountain well and you could probably find a pair on sale for less than 400

on3p jeronimos are made to be a 50-50 park/all mtn ski. I can not speak from experience, but i hear they are also very well made and very durable. Im about to pick up some 181 caylors from last year, you should check them out!

just agreeing with some previous posts; the line chronics and on3p jeros are definitely both great skis for both all mountain and park. I would definitely try and demo some skis to find out what stiffness you like, it's a big part of the decision.
