luongo has never been good. in the olympics he blew ass. every playoff run he blows ass. he has a few good games once in a while and people are like WHOAAA LUONGO IS THE BEST GOALIE OUT THERE. no, he has a good team in front of him. he's never been clutch. you can make the argument that he got unlucky or went into a slump if it happens once or twice. he's consistently awful, with a good game tossed in here and there.

were you watching the special olympics? It was Brodeur who came up short so Luongo got the starts and we won gold. That's as complicated as it needs to be.

And 4 shutouts in the playoffs?? yeaaa he's such a terrible goalie.

and a regular season of .928 save % and 2.11 gaa. just shit eh??

luongos an amazing goalie, the only reason people are saying he sucks is because its been the playoffs and theres been a lot of tension and bullshit goals/calls. personally i think the canucks should hire a sumo to wear goalie gear and lie down on his side to cover to whole goal. just saying.....

that said lebron choked out ..
and its easy to blame a Goalie but the canucks gave up open ice and blocked the vision of lou for two of the goals.

sure he got his team to the finals but then he let his team down in the finals. Those were the most important games of the season and he blew them..... HE SUCKS

again, because 2 shutouts in the finals is terrible. You can in no way blame Luongo for losing the cup. And no, he didn't get the team to the finals. They got there themselves. It was Thomas who got his team to the finals. He got his team to the playoffs in the first place.

They both blew it, they both could have played to their potential and their teams could have won. I think that in hockey the goalie is a big deal, but i mean the team has to score points too, the goalie cant block EVERY good shot and the goalie cant do anything about offense. But, with lebron, he's a huge defensive and offensive force, he blew it on both sides. I'd say lebron had the worse week of the two.

Why didn't Lebron go to college? Because he wouldn't show up for finals.

With that said it was shitty Vancouver defence that killed them, like Marchand's wrap around, nobody even tried to take him.

You can't be good for only some games in a 7 game series and expect to win. He gave up 22 goals in 7 games... incredibly inconsistent.
