147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

The Canucks powerplay is doing its damndest to lose them this series. Without Daniel it appears to be a total mess. Usually if you play this aggressively you get your ass handed to you. But with only one Sedin it's an effective PK strategy. This isn't looking good.

That said I am not REALLY worried until LA gets to an elimination game. Which could be Sunday.

Our PP just straight sucks, and I don't really think its because we are missing Daniel.Even the last 2 months of the season it was shit.

Our last 7 playoff games our PP is 1 for 33/34 or something around there and given up 5 SHG, never gonna win with play like that

I hope to see Schneider on Sunday. Not because of Luongo, it's not his fault. But just to change momentum.

Like I said, I see it as fully possible the Canucks win 2 in Los Angeles, so I'm not super worried yet. However, it now looks likely that they'll lose the series.

This looks silly right now, doesn't it.

Better effort tonight but the special teams broke our back for sure. Luongo is looking rock solid though so that's encouraging. Doesn't look like Daniel will be back for Sunday but one can hope.

I agree with JD, not too worried until an elimination match... Chicago and Boston did it to us last year down 3-0 and 2-0 respectively. Hope remains.

Also, an impressive 48 SOG for the Canucks, far superior to Wednesday. It still feels like they're missing the net far too often though. Gah!

was just going to point that out.


it's very early. Might not necessarily look good, but there were quite a bruins fans who had already written them off after 2 games against montreal.


though i suppose being 2 down against montreal and then winning the series is not something boston ordinarily does against the habs, so it was a rarity.

And how do you know who my team is? If you think its the flames, they havent made the playoffs in 3 years. If you think its the oilers, they havent made the playoffs in 5 years. So not really sure who my team is.

eh, i'm not a fan of ANY of the LA sports teams, but i gotta root for my boy quick. He lived in the dorm room next to mine my freshman year of college.

And I also route for 3 teams, The Bruins, whoever is playing montreal, and whoever is playing vancouver.

i'm can't say i hate the ducks, can't say i like them really either. any team owned by disney loses point in my book.

at least they didn't make the playoffs this year, and it's doubtful they'll claim another cup in the near future. just hoping the ANAHEIM angels start sucking as badly as well.

damn, nucks are in trouble now. I think we will win the next game tho, especially is we start Schneider. Not that Luongo has been playing bad, just that Schneider plays well in big games and its good to give Luongo a rest

A large part of the reason the Canucks are so disliked because they win. A lot. What's the other team that is hated around the NHL? Pittsburgh? Makes sense... they tend to win a lot too.

I went to disneyland for the first and only time when I was 9.

...I was not that impressed, so my parents took us to the beach instead. I was much happier.
