147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

im imagining a lot of the star players will be out which could lead to a very dirty fight filled game before the start of the playoff series.

marshmont and subban are probably close to the top of the list..the thing is though you would definitely want either of those players on your team

I sure as shit hate subban but he is a damn good player and would love to see him in black and gold..it's the same way for marchand I completely understand why he is hated around the league - but if you dont want that very talented little spark plug on your squad youre nuts

Also I fucking despise kaleta - theres no one around the league that likes him right?

I'm not expecting that much on saturdays game..obviously the teams are fired up and the tone is already set for the series - I dont see either team really wanting to risk an injury that could put them out of the playoffs..either way im definitely going to be watching that game too

Also keep your eye on the bruins/sabres game on saturday - the sabres are probably gonna be pretty pissed at just missing the cut and why not take out some of that anger on the team that ran through your goalie like toliet paper and a team you have already had a bunch of scraps with this year

As much as Subban can be a little pest, I wouldn't put him in the same category as Marchand.
Subban is a pest but he's no cheapshot artist.

he's a great player no doubt..but he is definitely dirty - im not trying to make any comparison between him and marchand, just saying that subban isnt a clean player


subban turtling and getting dragged around like a little bitch after this elbow makes it even worse...







It's also the diving - when I say dirty player I'm not just talking about cheap hits







It's a shame he plays like that cause hes got tremendous talent

Reading a lot of places today, Kings fans feel that the game was 'stolen' from them because of that no-call...

...Do they remember when they were given extra time to beat Colombus? hmmmmm.

That game was another not-so-awesomely officiated game. there were no-calls all over the place. That one just sticks out in peoples minds because... well, I don't know if anyones ever seen that kinda thing before. Perhaps Ryane thought the Sharks were already eliminated and wanted to practice his putting?

I was at that game, pretty fun. I was reppin san jose cause my friend is a big san jose fan and I like san jose better than LA. I was sitting right behind the san jose bench and it was pretty funny to watch. That was brutal officiating on both sides. The fans were all so pissed at the refs. it was pretty funny. Well i guess i really don't have a point to bring up other than it's just home fans trying to milk two really bad calls, but other than that it was a great game to watch.

Tells me you know nothing about hockey. That hit WAS clean, they suspended him because it was LATE. If he'd hit him with the same hit about 0.5 seconds earlier it would've been completely legal. Also, you tell me to "get over" a hit and then immediately quote a hit from LAST YEAR?

How about I'm not over it because my team's leading scorer is still out of the lineup because of it? Let's at least wait until the injury that resulted from the intent-to-injure has come and gone before telling anyone to "get over it". Jesus you're dumb.

The Clowe stick-off-the-bench non-call is only robbery if it prevented a goal (arguable because it would've given a 5-on-3) or gave a goal to SJ (it didn't). Really he barely touched it and it shouldn't have even affected the rush much less the game. Still a pretty awesome screencap.

Wow, that call on Rinaldo was fucking awful. A 5 minute major AND a game misconduct for a questionable boarding..

I suppose the refs have to establish their dominance in this series early.. 'Cause we all know how fun that is to watch.

The Canucks are leading after two and need only one point to become back-to-back president's winners - first to accomplish that in two straight seasons since the Dallas stars in 1998 and 1999. As if they care, they just want the home ice advantage.

Here's the thing - when leading after two, only one time in the last God knows how many years (at least the last 2, probably more) have the Canucks not managed to get a point out of the game.

That one time was on Thursday.

So it's not in the bag. But if they do pull it out, they face the loser of LAK - SJS. LA is currently leading by one in the second.

Sean, looks like a very likely west final rematch at this point... and we won't have Daniel in game 1. This is somewhat concerning for us. Canucks, if they win, will be 8-1-0 in their last 9. This is somewhat concerning for you. HMMMMMM.

no, i just don't give a shit if they get relocated to quebec next year. save that for the 12/13 thread. i'm more interested in the fact that their win tonight solidified their matchup with the hawks in round one. had they lost, we were going to face the winner of the sj/la game. a lot of stuff up was up in the air this morning.
