Why? I mean he changed the subject, and it's a pretty far-fetched conspiracy theory that the goal was overturned because it was against the Bruins, but the rest of what he posted was accurate. The Canucks are viewed as one of the dirtiest teams in the league, yet they have zero supplemental discipline incidents this year and apparently have the most supplemental discipline incidents occur against them. Basically, they engage in zero dirty play by Shana-standards, and have a lot of dirty play employed against them. Either you're saying the department of player safety has a huge hard-on for the blue and green, or the narrative is wrong.
Anyway, even though the West playoff race is more up-in-the-air in that it's a multi-horse campaign, I think the East race is more compelling. Washington vs. Buffalo, 7 games, best record wins, tie-breaker goes to the Capitals. Both teams 1-0 so far. They play each other tomorrow, will be huge. Buffalo gets Toronto twice, Boston, Philly and Pitt. Not easy. Washington gets Montreal, Boston, Tampa, Florida and Rangers. If it really gets down to the wire, the Caps may be playing the Rangers on the final day of the season for the chance to play the Rangers in the first round, after knocking out the Rangers in the first round last year. That could be pretty epic.
