147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

Not on the west coast, I have skated outdoors once in my entire life, and it was on the Rideaux Canal in Ottawa not even in BC

I guess it depends on the conditions. Here in Ottawa there's so many rinks and some are poorly maintained, while some are awesome as they flood them almost every night. I never play indoor as I don't have the equipement. It's much easier for me to walk 5 minutes to the rink, lace up my skates and then slap on my habs jersey.

Yeah you definitely need the equipment to do anything else. There are like 100 rinks in Calgary but none in walking distance from me.

Not that I could skate right now anyway with this *%@%!# busted LCL.

Yeah, its only private ice times after 6pm. That's when the Junior A team has it's games and practices every night. Beer leagues play during the day on weekends and fridays unless theres a Junior game during the day (in which case they flip them to night time)

fuck yeah vancouver. shitty reffing (there always is when vancouver plays chicago) but a great game nonetheless.

sidenote: retarded TSN commentator is retarded. compares the ballard play with the marchand on salo one. not even close to similar, how are people this stupid allowed on TV?

have you played at nathan phillips square after everyone leaves? it's pretty cool and they have started to leave the lights on after hours. i'd go down more often, but i'm way up town and it's hard to find free legal parking down there.

The Hawks - Canucks game last night was a great one to watch, and was stolen by Corey Schneider. The Canucks were badly out-chanced especially in the second period. However, the game a perfect example of how completely underrated Dan Hamhuis is. With everything that went on in that game no one will mention Hamhuis. He played 24 minutes. During that 24 minutes, the Hawks generated 5 scoring chances. During the 36 minutes he was on the bench they generated... 22 scoring chances. Nothing else really needs to be said there.

Huge Leafs fan here.. and I gotta say that was the most entertaining game i've watched all year. 60 mins of fast paced-end to end young-gun hockey. Tragic blown lead by the Leafs but we couldnt do anything about the bounces. Looking forward to rd. 2 tonight!!

Another frickin loss in a shootout by bryz gave the jets a win over the flyers last night. Can't blame it all on the goalie though when giroux and jagr can't get one in. Honestly wasn't expecting a 2-1 loss against the jets after our crazy games so far this year.

nah, soo far. I live far up too. Usually just muck at hodgson, ramsden, rosedale, north toronto etc. I go to school literally right across from hodgson and play during spares

Amen, Hamhuis is so under-rated.
Which is why I still stand by the fact that his injury was the turning point in the finals last year, not the Rome hit or anything else that happened. Hamhuis getting injured just fucks up our entire defense. Heres to hoping he can stay healthy this year as with the rest of the team

Backstrom was a stud tonight for the Wild....thank god they won over the av's especially after that embarrassing loss to the pred's giving up 4 goals in the 3rd to lose.

time to attempt to climb up the standings from 8th place now....we need koivu and bouchard back so badly.

big home win for the flyers last night against the preds who were pretty hot I guess.

Gonna be a great weekend of flyers hockey with 1pm games on saturday and sunday. Devils and rangers, should be some good games. I'm gonna be smashed on yuengling by 3 both days I'm betting.

yea me too but I'm trying to buy a snowboard and curb my expenses a bit. Delicious beer is great but right now I don't have the coin to be burning through a case or two of it a week.

I really wanna venture down and visit the victory brewery soon.

But for now I'm sticking with my standard flyers fuel at 18 bucks per case of cans.
