Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

God damn...I've tried to ignore this thread because of my disappointment in the wild. but holy shit they are just terrible right now, injuries are not an excuse to keep getting your ass kicked every night.

b's scrapped by last night after pounding the devils in the first 10 minutes of the 3rd after a lackluster first two periods...that 3rd period last night was a huge lift going into this weekend playing against two tough teams, it shows that they arent just content with backing into the all-star break

amazingly claude julien is 173-5-12 when the bruins have a 2 goal lead at any point in the game..that stat literally blew my mind I still dont even think it can be true. The only loss I can think of is when they lost game 7 to philly after being up 3-0..that means there were only 4 other games they lost when they were up 2 goals since 2007

As a Leafs fan who grew up in Ottawa I'm both blown away and infuriated by the Sens this year... How do they keep doing it? Talk about depth man. I would support Paul Maclean for Jack Adams all the way. Still though, the thought that basically 50% of the Binghamton Sentors are second in the Northeast right now sickens me. Something's gotta give

how about mike babcock for jack addams. they need to change the criteria. it always goes to someone whose team sucked last year and got turned around. why not to a team that is good EVERY FUCKING YEAR. he's obviously doing something right..

Also want to point out that I though Raymond was just short of excellent last year in the playoffs - his defensive work/back checking is overlooked and vastly under rated.

Nice to see Peter Mueller back for the Avalanche and scoring after nearly 2 full seasons off for concussion related symptoms.

Interesting Sidney Crosby stat...

since scoring the gold medal goal in Vancouver back in 2010, he has played in 82 games - a full season worth. He has 49 goals and 79 assists for 128 points and is +41 in that stretch. He's now missed 85 games for the pens (including playoff games) since scoring that golden goal.

Did anyone watch the Bruins/Flyers game? Probably the most exciting hockey game I've watched since the playoffs last year.

Workin at my local hill so I had to listen to it on the radio. Sounded great though, hartnell is on fire right now holy shit. Knew it was over before the shootout started though.

Also I had to literally yell at a bunch of fucks in the lodge, I took my break so I could watch the end of the third period. Go in the lodge to find 4 tv's with the pats game on. Get one TV channel changed and the crowd went wild, I had to bitch them all out and tell them to move. Then as soon as the flyers game was put on an instant crowd formed to watch OT and the shootout. Bunch of fuckin eagles fans wanna watch baltimore and the pats, I was pissed. Fuckin bryz, listening to the shootout stats they were saying at the end almost made me cry haha.

Michalek didnt get anything.

His knee hit the guy in the back first causing him to go down and forward with his elbow into the back of that guys head. they said the penalty was deserved and enough discipline.

I am a pens fan and from a non-bias standpoint I agree with that decision. Z isnt a dirty player, I dont think he is the type of guy to take head shots at people like Ovi is...

Ovi should have gotten 5 to 7 for that hit. he could have fucking killed him.
