147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

Canucks are on the same trip, just lost in Carolina, so after losing to worst team in the league they lose to the third worst.... really entertaining game though and a tough one.

Some epic bullshit, they called Cole was in the blue zone (goalie circle).... on 2 of their 4 goals philadelphia had a player with both feet in that zone. Epic bullshit.

yaa do it man, and yo the atmosphere in the nosebleeds is the best! thats where all the young drunk people go, i usually end up there too and its always just a great time. and to mr. gaga talking about the disallowed goal; that can't be it, thats not even a rule anymore. I missed it but im guessing he must've interfered with the goalie somehow.

Damn you're right they called he did some 'obstruction'... he touched the goalie after the puck went in. They rly could and should had even things up and disallow one of the Flyers goals.

I didn't understand that one either. He barely touched Bob, but it was before the shot went off. On the replay you could see bob just glance to the left a bit when he gets bumped then the shot comes from the right. He hardly touched him though, I couldn't believe they didn't allow it and I'm a flyers fan.

We woulda beat ya anyway though haha.

It was a great game though, I swear every flyers game this year has been crazy exciting.

Bring on Boston.

Pronger out for the whole season and playoffs and I don't even give a shit. I'd like giroux back though, probably fuckin up JD's fantasy league stats right now too haha.

gonna be an awesome game..two 4 game sweeps in 2 years, you know both teams are gonna get up for this game and try to prove their point about being best in the east

also, how nice is it to have a quality netminder this season??

I was surprised mcquaid didnt get a 1 game suspension...i think there were a few factors that went into the decision to only fine him:

1. foligno came right back and played (david booth is out for like 6 weeks)
2. It was reactionary and not intentional
3. Mcquaid is a respected, clean defensemen with no reputation and is a first time offender

the real thing these suspensions are targeting are intentional dirty hits, mcquaid got the 5 minute and the game misconduct which was the right call

I thought a sweep was winning all four games to none, like what boston did to us last year. Previous year was our big comeback, not quite as cool as a sweep. Anywho though, you're right that it should be a bitchin game.

Bryz is good and his record of late has been fuckin great, but I haven't been extremely impressed so far with him. I trust him slightly more than bobs. He's been really heatin up lately though so we'll see, maybe I'll like him more in the second half of the season. That whole lost in the woods thing still worries me.

ya they did, i was surprised at how little they actually cared. no one said anything ahah. i JUST got that camera so you can understand i was really trigger happy and took like 300 pics lol; ill go through them all and post a few of the good ones

Ya i did, camera crews everywhere and they had GoPro's and microphones mounted on the bench.

in other news, my hatred for kaberle is starting to diminish ahaha. ill always have my issues with his defensive play but man he moves the puck pretty well in the offensive zone, especially when he has a bit of time and space on the PP; those one-timer deflection passes he does are nice (like the one on subban's goal)

This Toronto - Vancouver game is one of the best I've watched all season. Both teams are playing about as well as they're able, the goaltending is especially nuts.
