147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

haha, we kinda derp'd on our 5 - 3 ended up having a penalty of our own, and by that time there was only 18 seconds left in the 2nd.

won it 4 - 2 tonight, matt hackett picks up his first two nhl wins in san jose and LA so that is awesome to see. over half the damn team tonight had a point.

Winning over Dallas. Always feels good. Not keeping our rivalry with them is about the only thing I find bad about the new realignment... Ill still hate them forever though. Mike Ribero and Steve Ott can suck my pubes.

You wanna see derping on a 5 on 3?? Check out the pens last night. 2 man advantage and 2 flyers with broken sticks for maybe a half minute and no goal to speak of.

Nice win for the flyers last night. Sucks they were missin letang and crosby but it felt good to see philly manhandle pittsburgh to take the top spot in the division.

Fuckin pinball goal off two pens by briere to get it started too, unreal.

Yeah, but I've seen that kinda thing before... and here, at least Edmonton had some shots on net (although, they were playing it mighty conservatively...) This was the loudest moment in the history of the Sharktank...



Last night? The sharks had 1:55 of 2 man advantage... and the only shot on goal the whole time came from Dallas. That's beyond any such PP derp i've ever seen before.

Rogers and Bell are buying Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment from Ontario Teachers. For thsoe who don't know, MLSE owns the Leafs, the Raptors, Toronto FC, The Toronto Marlies, the ACC, Leafs TV, NBA TV, GolTV, and a few other properties.

So it was true that MLSE was being sold, but not true that Gretzky was one of the buyers.

My law firm is on for the buyers (Rogers and Bell), got an email this morning telling us not to talk to reporters... expecting a call from Bob McKenzie any minute now.

Well... firstly, because it's as if Verizon and AT&T came together and purchased the New York Yankees, or LA Lakers. Kinda weird seeing competitors doing that..

Furthermore, this is even weirder, because Verizon and AT&T don't exactly own what's basically the entire media landscape of the country lol. To put it on An Amerocentric scale, It's actually more like NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX all went in and purchased the moon together lol.

It seems awkward that the two competitors who just went in and purchased a bunch of sporting teams together are also battling to purchase the rights to broadcast games featuring the teams they just purchased together... or have been since forever, it seems.

Not only that, but Bell holds a huge stake in the Habs right? Now they own part of both of those teams? That just seems like too much double dipping of the chip...



..just seems... so awkward and ridiculous to me.

I for one think Malkin should be suspended. Dead serious. I hate the unwritten rule that if you take a cheap shot and miss, it's no harm no foul. A dangerous play is dangerous regardless of whether an injury results.

i didnt get to watch the game, but i saw that he got 2 apples; atta boy. i thought about the trade last night as i was going to bed (thats so hockey nerd-ish of me ahah) and its actually not that bad. having been a purely defensive d-man myself, im very critical of the defensive aspect of a d-man's game, which is why i always hated kaberle, i mean come on the guy fucks up pretty often in the defensive end; however, i cant deny that he can make shit happen offensively. we traded him for spacek, who wasnt too good defensively either so its whatever, and ya he is expensive but hey if he keeps making shit happen like this i wont mind at all

Wild keep things rolling tonight with 4-1 win over Phoenix! We're looking so good right now. Our powerplay unit scored 3 goals, Backstrom looked great in his first game back, and even with all the other injuries our offence is still looking great!

yes i understand, don cherry is the same way and did the same things, but still a little less bias when doing international broadcasting would be nice.

whatever though, canucks are winning. tied for 4th in the west with just as many points as boston and second only to philly in goals for this season. 4 game winning streak to and lu is picking it back up.
