Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

there was this girl in my grade back in high school, her younger twin brothers used to play hockey and they were pretty good. she posted this video of them on facebook the other day. fast forward to 1:30 and check out the moves this kid does, ive never seen that shit before, its fucked up.

he should just retire and do something else. he's obviously too good for this league. he has enough money, a cup ring, all sorts of individual accomplishments.. just go pimp out for the next 50 years and surf the caribbean or some shit. live the good life and not have to worry about 'working' erryday or being at risk of taking another head shot, because if that happens, it could be more severe than just missing time playing hockey.

good game tonight, fast paced, pretty back and forth, exciting til the very end. thomas played well though, we just couldnt figure it out. lookin forward to the next habs/bruins matchup

That was maybe the most ridiculous thing he's ever done. He has no business, none, being that good after that much time off.

It's not even the four points so much, it's how he got them.

Ask yourself this: if he can score four points in his first game back after ten months without taking any time to get up to in-game speed, what is going to happen once he starts using the forehand side of his fucking stick?!

my opinion is that hes been ready to go for a little while now, but kept putting off his return so that when he did eventually come back he would come back as sidney crosby, not rusty sidney crosby

hes naturally a hard worker (you cant get as good as he is without working hard), so he probably worked his ass off any chance he got to get back to 110%

But you can't get back to that level by working out and skating drills. Or at least, you're not supposed to be able to. Practice all you want, but there's no way to simulate the intensity of an actual game. Which suggests that this is just the beginning. On the other hand, maybe playing NYI is as close to a practice as he's likely to get in the NHL.

for a guy like him though, its all instinct, he just needed his body to be at a level of fitness that would be able to react on his instincts. thats my theory anyways. and ya i dont really think it was a coincidence that he came back on a home game against the isles...

well to be honest, wait until he starts playing teams that aren't the islanders...

not downplaying his night at all, but it's a long season, and people are going to be less and less afraid to play him hard. lets just hope he holds up when he gets dumped, because it's going to happen. a dynamic player like that.. you can't just let him control the puck all game and dangle around.
