Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

I'm tired of seeing our coach with ZERO emotion, our players are starting to look just like our coach as each game goes by.

I don't understand why the habs play so defensive, when all of our players have speed (except gill lol) and good puck moving skills.
Coaching staff needs to exploit the player's strengths, rather then play as if our team was composed of gritty defensive players. Remember the 07-08 season? Our Plekanec, Kovalev and AK46 line was dynamite..

Saturday is going to be an important game. My expectations are high.

yeah i hear you.  They should keep pacioretty and david desharnais together on a line too.  Im not too fond of all the line changes every game either

Thats why they need Kirk Muller back, to manage the special teams. 

It sucks to watch Price play his heart out every game and then have the players in front of him fall short.  Hopefully with mike cammalleri back, we can get some offense moving.

I wonder if Markov will even see any ice time this year either.  Ryan White's essential flow is needed back too.

And yes Saturday is very important.  I'm going to be in a bar within the Greater Toronto Area with tons of leafs fans all ranging from 20 - 30 years old with me wearing a Habs jersey along with all my friends whom are also leafs fans, should get interesting.

Man, Pekka Rinne is terrible. Got pulled last night after 20 minutes. And I notice his backup only let in one goal. Clearly they should trade him for someone less overrated and overpaid. I didn't even notice the mistakes and various breakdowns in defensive coverage that led to the goals or the ones that were redirected at the last second. Embarassing. Preds fans should run that guy out of town.

Yeah... I saw that kinda stuff all the time with that one Dommenic Hashik guy... Same thing with that Patrick Raw or whoever...

Montrayall totally did run Patrick Raw out of town too... only to see him get totally lucky by landing with Colorado when they got that Ray Bork guy who made him look really good when he was a really bad goalie.

fuck we're sucking ahaha. we need ryan white. barely any talent but he plays his heart out, throws the body and can swing the momentum our way with just one shift. like stated above, our players are lacking emotion right now, someone needs to light a fire under their asses

dude bar i was at this game last night.. Price is a funny fucking dude.. listen to this!

My seats are like right behind the goal that the home team shoots on twice so i get to see the away goalie the whole time. anyways, price was in net last night and there was stoppage in play for a minute or 2 and he was just standing there at the net looking towards the crowd. he was trying not to look into the crowd as it was alread 2 -1 pens. He was looking all around like up in the air and shit then finally he just starts starring right in the crowd and usually if they players look in the crowd they just look they dont acknowledge people making fun of them.

anyways, there was an old man right on the glass like was like yelling at him and just being a fan of the home team prolly giving him the finger making faces whatever. this old man was prolly like in his 70's or 80's so he had like that turkey gobbler extra skin stuff under his chin where you adams apple is. Price looked right at the old man grabbed under his chan and started like shaking it around while looking at the old man!!

was so funny i started laughing so hard so did everyone else but then it backfired on him because we all started chanting CCAAARRRR IIIIEEEEEEE.. like everyone in the arena for the next 10 minutes then he got scored on!

About the game:
Good to see Patchorette(I know thats not spelled right) back and doing really well. I hate Camellari but good to see him back too, im an NHL fan and like to see good games. Sucks that The Flower had to get scored on in the last minute of the game. woulda been nice to get that first shutout!

It was also cool seeing Gill play in his 1000th game, they did a little tribute to him in the jumbotron. everyone stood up and gave him a standing ovation and he stood up and saluted the crowd with a raise of the stick. love seeing stuff like that reminds me that people actually care about guys on the other team.

This same shit happened with Heatley after the last 2 offseasons. It was pretty fucking hilarious to see how goddamn retarded some people were with that whole thing...

He only had a seriously pulled groin that required surgery in 2010 and a broken hand in 2011... I guess he should have had about 89 goals during the playoffs or something...

People were seriously willing to just waive him and his 7.5 hit over the next 2 years because they thought Ben Ferriero was better... a guy who scored one (very lucky) OT goal against Detroit... Please.

HE TOOK THEM TO THE STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR OMGGGG THEY DIDNT WIN SO FUCKING WHAT!!

The fans in Van obviously have no idea how hard it is to win a gold metal or how hard it is to get to the stanley cup finals. what a bunch of fucking clowns.

The only thing I agree with is that yes the contract was a little crazy. I don think i would ever sign a player to something like that. Other than that what a stupid fucking article.

Roberto is one of the best goalies in the league hands down. Van fans are nuts seriously.

I mean look at Fluery last year(if you follow the pens or just hockey) he started off sooooo bad that we played our backup a lot who yes at times looked to be doing better but we always stood by Fluery and everyone wanted to see him back in goal. he got the bad goals out of him early like Roberto is doing and then what happened... he was one of the standout goalies of last year. we had over 100 points missing 3 of our superstar players for most of the year. Crosby, Making and Staalsy.. Van fans need to chill. I am a Van fan and would never say that about Roberto! I grew up in Seattle so they are basically my team besides the Pens who have been my team since birth.

Anyways in other news:

Sidney Crosby as we all know as been cleared for contact but what some may not know is that he is supposed to be return on November 11th so make sure to try and watch that game! This was said by one of the Penguins commentators who is an ex-pen and definitely knows his shit.

That article was ridiculous. Vancouver fans are so fickle. Why can't we be loyal to our team that came within 5 goals of the stanley cup last year, and the goalie that was part of it? Oh right, because he's had a couple bad games at the beginning of the season, he definitely forgot how to play hockey over the summer and should be traded immediately.

I think it's because the fans have never had to experience the team being really bad and missing the playoffs for many years in a row, at least recently. That's when true fans develop, rather than ones that feel entitled to a good playoff run because that's the only time they actually get excited about hockey.

Pens 6-2-2 minus Malkin, Crosby and Orpik for most. Orpik game back last game, Letang was out for 2, Tyler Kennedy is now out for who knows how long... Depleted team still 6-2-2. I would like to see the Caps go 7-0-0 without there 2 best players. IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN.

Why would Florida even do that? David Booth was their top scorer last season if I remember correctly, and at 26 and under contract for the next few years, was more than worth keeping around (even if it was overpriced, it's not like they don't have cap space or something).. and they traded him for a 34 year old and a 33 year old who hasn't played a full season since 07-08.

...and THEN they traded away a third round draft pick and another player into the mix? I don't see this helping them out one bit. I'd be furious if I was in Florida. Pretty huge price to pay if this is just a long term salary dump.

Great trade for Vancouver. Stupid trade for Florida.

Our trades with the Panthers have really panned out nicely.
