Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

What the fuck is up with the flames? they seem to be able to play 20 mins of Hockey, and then they just lose it. Happened in St. Louis and then again in Toronto. Dominate in the first and then just lose it. Once they play a full 60 mins, then you've got a playoff contender.

Look what happened against pittsburgh, st louis and Toronto. Opening goals, good physical hockey and looked like a really strong team. And then they drop off, like that. If they show up for more than 20 mins you've got a decent team.

their goalie played an amazing game last night probably the game of his life! Hate seeing my pens lose but love seeing the jets back! pens fucked them selves by getting scored on in the first 2 seconds.


Anyones thoughts on the Kris Letang hit?

I guess he has to have a hearing with the commissioner or something and be be suspended.. i think thats bullshit not just because im a pens fan. the player for one new letang was going to check him and turned directly into it and second the player lost his edge and fell when letang was hitting him which made it look way worse than it really was. Letang isnt really a dirty player and shouldnt face any suspension time or a fine over this. just my thoughts anyone else?

Burmistrov knows exactly what he did, you learn that shit in peewee/bantam age hockey levels. Anyone who strapped on a pair of skates knows this.

That said, going to be tough. Letang drilled Spezza last year too. Shanahan has his hands full on this one, I could see maybe one game

Are we going to start see a new trend of "drawing the penalty" on boarding calls? Sure hope not.

Ya I mean it was a hit on the boards and one that wasnt that hard. He got a penalty and thats all I think he needs for that one. It wasnt even close to hard enough to hurt Burmistrov thats for sure. I could have taken that fucking hit.

I personally don't have any problem with the hit. He turned his back at the very last second and the hit itself wasn't bone crushing.

Nah... I just rolled my eyes at that one. Sharks threw 41 shots on net. Ellis made some fine saves. SJ should have played better, surely... but it was just one of those early season games.



...when do we play phoenix again? haha.
