147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

Ive already talked about this a few times in the past... There's no way Pittsburgh gets moved to another conference than Philadelphia...

Dallas is staying in the west. Period. I see Nashville moving east LONG before Dallas - Considering Texas isn't even in the "South", and Tennessee is...

Look, geographically, what I posted makes the most sense.  Period.

You can say whatever you want about teams wanting to be in the same division as other teams for whatever reason, rivalries or whatever. But really, the only legitimate case there is that Toronto and Montreal need to be in the same division. Everything else is negotiable. New rivalries will develop.

Now, moving Pitt to the central is not ideal, but you need to keep things even among the divisions, and moving them is the easiest to manage in terms of distance among each divisional team. And it actually wouldn't hurt to have a team like Pittsburgh to help carry more of the ratings load for western teams' broadcasts. The only real problem with it is the occasional 9:00et Pens start, but scheduling can minimize that.

Don't get all defensive dude...

I'm just saying that Nashville makes about a thousand times more sense in the southeast than does Dallas... both geographically and historically. seeing as all of those rivalries in the south, are already intact based on every other sport... regardless of new rivalries being built, Nashville still doesn't have a real inter-division rival like it would if it had Carolina and Florida teams coming to town 6 times a year.

Think about it this way... If you went to Dallas and asked them "are you in the east, or the west" I guaranfuckingtee you that they would either say "in the west" or "fuck both options, we're just texas"

And... someone from Nashville, having asked the same question would either Say "we're in the south" or break out in a country song...

damnit that boston - caroline game was so frustrating. i'm pissed. and mcquaid may/may not be injured now too on top of krejci. the only cool part was when seguin lit cam ward up in the second period. dirty

lucic you kinda look like shit right now. step it up buddy. horton too, but we're starting to see glimpses of him coming back.

The best of the best are always hated and that will never change. Anyone making fun of Sid is recognizing his legendary greatness. Just like I fucking hate Ovechkin, but must recognize that he is a very very good hockey player.

Also, Kipper was on fire. 35 saves and the one you got in Sarich broke his stick so After he made the first save and the way it came of the boards he had no chance on that second one. 36 shots for one goal for the habs and 21 shots for four goals. But yeah, go flames.

they faced brent johnson and they think they won the stanley cup. beating the pens 8 times in a row is the closest they will ever get to holding lord stanley in the air. i feel bad for them.

I don't understand Jacques Martin's decisions. Why would he put Plekanec at the point? Plus I'm tired of seeing Moen or Darche on the 1st line, it doesn't work! Seriously, it's embarrassing..
Cole is the new Kostitsyn, he has one poor shift and then gets benched for the game.
I wish JM would tune in to my feed with his satellite ears of his.

I dunno man I think "worst team in the league" is a title that should be bestowed on the Ottawa Senators at this point. Maybe the Oilers still but the Sens are pretty awful, and the Devils have plenty of good things going for them.

good choice. i like the white jerseys. and horton. i think he's gonna start playing like his old self soon.

a little late to the convo, but i hope sid comes back soon. i've always enjoyed watching him play and it'll be good to see him return. it'll be interesting to see how accurate the EA sports prediction is. they predicted sid to play 65 games this year, putting his return right around Dec 5 (when the pens play the Bs). I hope it's not that accurate though, because they predicted the pens to win the cup this year
