147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

wild stuff. im glad to see philly gone though. the devils play a pretty solid game without the shenanigans. rangers/devils would be a sick series. great forechecks, some skilled shooters, and very tight defensively with some well establish goaltending. DO WANT.

So what? I enjoy going to the coyotes games along with the other 2999 fans who reguraly attend the them.. all i'm saying is that they desperatley needed a season like this and hopefully they will stick around here.

They've made the playoffs for years now. Success on the Ice hasn't meant jack squat as a business standpoint.

I'm glad you enjoy going to games, but all I'm saying is don't even dare try to claim those Winnipeg years as your own.

If they still stick around, I'll be surprised, seeing as how ridiculous this offer looks like to Glendale. Unless they're going to take any/all revenues from NFL games and events to pour into the Coyotes, then I don't see a reason in HELL why they would sign this offer - especially in a state where spending is seen as the fucking devil.

Most Phoneix fans held no connection with the Coyoties as recently as this year, until they started winning a couple of playoff games. Worst bandwagon fans in the NHL, simply put. I have one question for the 20,000 people in white tee shirts: Where were you the rest of the year?

Basically, fairweather fandom is the reason this franchise is a joke. Great hockey team - thanks mainly to Tippett. Terrible fanbase.

Not a fun series to watch as a flyers fan but ya gotta hand it to the devils for shutting us down almost completely. At least they were entertaining games. The hitting last night by both teams was incredible. Gotta give a hand to the devils forechecking, felt like we couldn't even leave our own zone to save our lives. Wasn't really impressed with marty, but he did well enough and still better than bryz. That attempt to play the puck that was batted right back in to give the devils the lead was disgusting.

All in all though not a bad year and we got a lot of young guys, will be interesting to see who moves around this summer. Sure to be an entertaining season again next year.

Great season guys, seeya in here again next year for sure.


Lol at phaeded and pageshouse sneekin back in here to laugh at a team that knocked out your pens. You stay classy pittsburgh, maybe your posterboys can get ya past the first round next year.

I agree.. 99% of the fans are following the bandwagon and dont have a clue what is going on during the game. you should see the facebook posts over here, "OMG! Go Yotes! There liek doing soo g00d!" Ive been following the coyotes for a while now and its good to finally see them going somewhere.

We accually have a pretty big hockey program here in the desert.. As far as skiing goes, well I dont really get to chose where I live, but finally im graduating high school and im moving closer to the snow next year..

Who gives two shits about bandwagon down there. The sport is certainly growing. Nashville had the same thing a few years ago. 0 fans then they started to win and now they have huge support down there. Fans are fans. They keep teams around and the sport relevant. Not to mention away from baseball. Not a worse sport in this country than that.

He's right. There's about 16 rich kids from Scottsdale and 12 from Paradise Valley who can afford to pay for the insane air conditioning costs associated with Youth Hockey in the valley of the sun...

Look out, Canada. Huge.

(By the way man, just a forewarning - most of us in here have a pretty serious animosity to the NHL having a team in Phoenix as opposed to a more traditional setting who would bleed to have a team that successful in their town. There's no hate directed at you - just the team you support. So expect some happy flaming! haha)

With the money they're paying Brodeur and Hedberg (5.2m and 1.25m resp.), do you really think they wouldn't be able to pick up another couple of NHL calibre goalies on the UFA market... for even as much as Brodeur costs alone? please...

Shit... if both retired this year you have guys like Clemmenson and Josh Harding hitting the market - both of whom would be at least quality backups, if not a solid tandem pair.
