147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

as long as boston and chicago dont win i can accept the cup outcome. they're out so im happy. that said i badly wanted a florida/nashville final just so gary bettman would kill himself at the lack of ratings.

how the fuck can you get a playoff game deal of 4 tickets + 2 beers + 2 hotdogs + 2 cups of juice for just $100 dollars in florida. you can barely afford one single regular season canuck ticket for $100.

Florida was not the "prime of his career" - see Vezina nominations. And the two most likely trade partners are Tampa and Toronto. Had he spent this season in nets for either team I have little doubt they'd have made it in.

He has been the best goalie in the last 3 years (look it up). Last playoffs he won 15 games.  He played 5 or 6 amazing games  and the rest were pretty good.  He got unfairly blamed for every loss evan when it was the team's fault.  I think that is worth a bit more than a second rounder

Sabres proved two things this season:

1. When they show up to play and are firing on all cylinders, they are one of the leagues elite teams. (See 18-5-5 record from January 24-March 24)

2. When they don't come to play, they can also be one of the leagues worst teams. (See 9-19-5 record from November 12-January 24)

What this means for expectations for the Sabres in the 2012-13 season? Nothing. Who the fuck knows which team will show up.

A good ole PA NJ semifinals. Gotta say I like it. I'm gonna say flyers in 6. Pissed I gotta wait til Sunday for a frickin game though. Guess I'll be watching some other teams this weekend.

I still wanna see Philly and LA battle for the cup.

he is. he's brutal. he'll be fine for a while, then just god awful. horribly inconsistent. it's like fleury. he can have some solid ups, but his downs are just the worst. you dont know whether to expect a shutout or 4 goals in the first period. that can't be good for the morale of the team..

That is nahhhhhhht how canadians took a view of last years stanley cups..pretty sure the bruins had 18 canadian players on roster last year, it was practically a win for canada haha

can't wait to watch the east matchups going forward..could give a shit about the west aside from the teams since im a big fan of quick

I see NYR taking the caps down in 5 or 6 max and hopefully philly pulls through against NJD because a NYR/PHI conference final will be an awesome showdown of two teams I think play great, physical, exciting hockey

I say Flyers in 5 unless the Devs learn to play all three periods. If NJ can put down 60 minutes of their good stuff instead of just the 1st period, I can see them winning the series.

yup. pretty much all the players are canadian, it's still canada's game, i just think it's cool to see arenas in phoenix, nashville and florida, not exactly known for their avid hockey fans, selling out stadiums with stoked fans, bandwagoners or no.

or the exact opposite, it was hilarious to hear the caps fans boo chara when he went down after ovechkin smashed him in the face breaking open his nose, bleeding everywhere and blackening two of his eyes with a high stick

Or when seidenberg cleared the puck while in the neutral zone and the crowd was booing looking for a delay of game call

I was cracking up at the fans down there..gotta be their first hockey game

Colorado won a cup the year after Quebec moved. It only makes sense that Quebec gets a cup their first year back to make up for it.

ok, so we've got Jersey and Philly facing off here in a couple of hours. I'm pretty damn excited for this series. i'm hoping jersey gives it to 'em hard. i doubt they will walk all over them though. should be a good series. any predictions?
