147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

Oh, and to start some tradition: LOL @ Anaheim.

I only got to watch the first period of the vanc/LA game so I didnt get to see the vanc comeback, havent been able to watch many games of their series either cause its on so god damn late so I can't really comment on their chances

Pitts might have a chance because bryz is a fucking headcase but fleury has been pissing down his leg all series so I dont see him putting up much of a stand against philly..I think philly gets the series in 6, too little too late for the pens

It's tough to predict what the all mighty shanahan will say, but to me that looks more like he's trying to defend his position from encroachment than a malicious attempt at an elbow to the face...i don't think that's suspension worthy. and i really don't like the sedin sisters.

@j:D. Maybe a fine and not a suspension. I think the pens have a better chance of going to 7 (big surprise there). But neither team will. Pens will loose tomorrow since they are playing at home. Same with Canucks. They need a lot of luck. The big thing is do you think there will be any retaliation tonight for the Torres hit?

God, I hope they aren't that stupid. They're down 2-1 right now and can't afford to be taking stupid penalties. Torres is suspended anyway...

Honestly, I think that if they were going to go head hunting, then they would have done it last game while torres was still on the ice.

it was a light crosscheck followed by a GLOVED punch. shit that happens in every single game and scrum. it should not lead to a suspension.

Thanks, from the clips their pp looked much improved..they seemed to be moving it around at ease which is bad news for the kings if they decide to stay hot with the pp, even with the go ahead you can see both sedins positioned right in front of the net - even if quick stopped the initial deflection that was an easy rebound goal for either of them

that third pp goal was just buttery smooth passing..i dont even like the sedins/vanc but you gotta respect that talented movement of the puck

So ashams was a glove punch also. Plus Rinaldo jumped on him when he was down. So did asham. The only thing that separates them is that when the pens guy got back up Rinaldo hit him again. The check wasn't that bad its what followed it that makes it stand out.

Oh please you're more of a homer than I am but at least I can admit it. I'll take a cross check and gloves to the face over a stick to the neck any day. If dude wasn't sitting there looking like he was ready to service ronaldo he wouldn't have even got the last little shove. Let's call it like it was, dude was afraid to stand up.

That said, it was plenty fuckin stupid. Shit like this is exactly why I was happy we tossed carcillo. If you're lucky he'll get suspended, I don't think he deserves it though.

I think he deserves the one game like asham got. Like I said earlier I wouldn't complain except for the last shove to the face. That was not needed and is why our sport gets a bad rap.

Not a chance, I may not know all the details of hockey but I know dirty from regular pushing and shoving. What rinaldo did was stupid yes, but no more violent than you see from scrums in the goal crease every game. A cross check to the throat and punching while down is dirty and rarely seen.

I called schenn dirty when he cross checked sindey in the back about 6 games ago. I'm not that much of a homer. You're just off your goddamn rocker man. Like I said before, if your man michalek wasn't acting like a bitch rinaldo wouldn't have treated him like one.

Agreed though, I hope to watch san jose and st. louis tonight as that's been my second favorite series so far.

Good luck tomorrow out there in pittsburgh, I mean it's about time you guys get a meaningful win over there against us.

The cross check didnt hit im in the throat.

He is shorter than Shenn and went to cross check him in the chest but because Shenn put his arms out it caused the stick to go up towards his face.. Maybeee catching him on the chin if anything.

Thats fucking hockey, you run a player you better expect something after it, especially in the playoffs. Still a stupid move on Ashams part but really 4 games vs 0 for the bum Rinaldo... I mean really the dude is garbage.

Either way Ryan66 or whatever you are dumb dude... why would you want this clown suspended, let him play friday and take more stupid ass penalties like he does every game. Dude is a fuckin bonerrrrr.

Because That shit is not hockey. When a guy is getting up after being hit and then hit again while he was down doesn't need to be a part of the game. I was unaware of the suspension on asham more then the game misconduct.

haha he wasn't getting up, he was kneeling there like Rinaldos girlfriend on a friday night. Getting up is what hartsy was trying to do while adams went bonkers bare knuckle on the back of his head before he could square up, only to fuckin bear hug like an out of breath heavyweight in round 10 before scotty could pound him into next week in front of the home crowd.


Yeah I'm sure schenn was diving, good call phaeded. Regardless of how hard or where the stick hit him or why, I'd still rather take glove hands to the face than a stick. Dude was playing in his first playoff game in front of his parents that flew all the way down from saskatooon(sp?), besides that the kids a beast and not a diver, I've been watching him all year. You"re just pissed cause our rookies can level your guys without even charging.

On the other hand though, philly fans really are assholes. Anybody hear em cheering Bob when the pens would clear and it went on net. Little dribbler and bob would swat it aside only to get cheered by the crowd for not missing it. Pretty low IMO.

Guess it's about as low as the leafs fans cheering lets go blue jays though.

i was more pissed at the brutal dive from michalek (i think). there was no fucking way in hell he could have gotten knocked out from that shove in the face and he was lying on the ice face down like he was out cold.

omg i give 87 percent of that come back to the blazers.. they played with skill and heart and never gave up. they made carruth look like a pee wee player out on the ice. that being said. it was a great series good hockey.. the way the blazers won games was by outscoring the hawks. but in game 7 the D locked down hard and Carruth was in the zone. making saves that had no reason to be stopped, gloving the puck through endless screens. it was a great showing of hockey.

so yes the blazers are a very good hockey team. going into the third i knew the score of 1-0 was not gonna be enough but thankfully on a 2 on 1 break we scored to give a cushion


now the WCF is gonna be crazy. Tri-cities are a very good hockey team. lots of blood in that riverly and both teams are in the same Div.


but yeah .. its nice to have a good WHL team right now. since my basketball team shit the bed pretty much
