Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

...are you seeing this from a media point of view? because the canadian media on HNIC and TSN stir up just as much of a story as NBC crews. Its journalism - They need to dig for the drama.

That whole "The Americans are fucking with our game" shit is just as much of a dumbass story as anything else.

I do agree that theres too much talk and not enough action, sure... but come on man.

it wasnt that bad.

battling on the boards, cross check from behind, then punched him in the head when he got up.

it should not warrant a suspension, the ref got it perfect. 2 for cross checking, 2 + 10 min misconduct for roughing. nothing crazy.

Agreed. They didnt rush to make the call, they thought it over and tossed rinaldo and squashed the possibility of retaliation/uprising to try and keep the game in check

Philly would be stupid if they tried any more bullshit like that with this series not done with

But Rinaldo looked fucking tapped right before he punched the guy..dude looks like he has a few wires loose in his head

meh, it was pretty close to the initial point of contact. as close as i could get it by trying to pause a youtube video at an exact microsecond. i don't have a huge issue with whether or not it was a late hit, but when you leave your feet you've broken the rules. whatever though. torres is suspended indefinitely pending his in person hearing, so it's looking like at least 5 games is coming his way.

i do somewhat agree with you about the WWE/NHL though. i'm much more interested in the actual hockey, but if that's what they have to do to increase the nhl's popularity, so be it. as ridiculous as it all may be....anything to get more games on tv, etc.

CBC is just fucking incompetent. Just switched back to the Canucks game after the Sens was done - and then switched BACK to show them cheering and show 5 replays of the goal. Fuck you CBC. Fuck you.

His play was dumb, but he shouldn't have been in that position. He's at the end of a shift and Edler makes a  half-hearted pinch and lets Kopitar go the other way with the puck. Guy has been pathetically awful.
