2 pairs of the same ski?

ive noticed that 2 pairs of bluehouse skis is about equal in price to 1 pair of lots of different skis.

i was thinking about getting 2 pairs of their park skis, one for urban/instructing and one for not fucking up.
should be around 650-700$

smart idea? or just a waste of money?

at one point in time i had 4 pairs of s4's. i sold a pair and now have 3 :) but then i bought a pair of s6's and s'3 and afterbangs.

ive never tried the ski though, but i've heard good things. i basically just want something durable.
i have dumonts right now and they're falling apart like nobody's business, at one point i had to go to the rental shop and smash my edge with a hammer to break it off to make them skiable.

so are the bluehouse antics good durable park skis/worth buying 2 pairs of?

i don't see your logic, if you do get 2 pairs it'd be better to keep 1 pair for urban and 1 pair for instructing

instructing on urban skis won't work very well, + instructing won't wreck your skis while urban will ....

Why don't you buy two pairs and when you break/they are no longer in good condition start using the other pair.

instructing fucks your skis up at my hill. little fuckers and gapers purposely trash your topsheets and bindings by stomping on you.

so far i've only instructed to kids 14-18y old and grown ups and every week i start with making some agreements, one of them is that if they ski over my skis or put there poles on them they have to buy me a beer :)

works great and its a win/win situation :) + they learn that they shouldn't touch other ppls gear from day 1 ....

i also don't often instruct on my park skis, simply because the edges are so beaten up that they're a pain in the ass, and will not allow me to give good demos...

Or you can buy a urban condition set of skis for $50 and spend the $550 on new skis...

buy one, ride them till they're urban worthy, then, if you like the ski enough, get another and keep them nicer

what i used to do is have one set of pipe skis and would keep them in good condition, and one pair of skis that i would ski rails and boxes. Then i got sick of switching skis at lunch when i wanted to do something else so now i just ride my skis to death and then make them urban.
