Stop hating on FD!

Personally I do not see why there is so much hate on first drop. The stuff that they make actually keeps you warm unlike saga. Also it doesn't fray on the zippers at all. I have owned three first drop jackets and I have not had a problem. Last years first drop held up better than last years saga by far. Also with saga you are paying 280 for a shell and with first drop you are paying 280 for a full on jacket. Also the zip off sleeves are perfect for warm weather skiing. Overall I feel that there is to much hate on first drop.

sparknotes: Fd is warm and doesn't fray like saga, also is a vest which is money efficient.

1. Their name sounds like a pre-school.

2. Their stuff looks like shit. (inb4 quality > looks)But if I wanted to buy terrible Skittle color combo suits I would just shop at my local thrift store for some retro gear.

3. When I tried to buy a First Drop hoodie a year or so ago it took them almost a month to even think about sending it out. I would assume the same for their other outerwear.

4. I would rather support Moment. Who has incredibly legit outerwear quality and it looks fucking dope. And I got my jacket for half off.

Moment, Saga, LDC, etc. > First Drop.

But when I have kids and need someone to watch my kids I will highly consider bringing them to First Drop Daycare.

Dude, they have a bunch of solid colors too: red, black, white, blue. you can mix and match any color pant and jacket you want for a little over 400 bangers. That pretty sick.

agreed. varsitys can be cool if done with quality and stylish fit in mind. but with fd the quality will be shit, and the fit will probs be xxxxl $thugnasty$

i got my reversible hoodie and there were already threads coming loose in at least 5places.   now the thumb holes are almost ripped right through and ive never put my thumb through them.   the quality and the prices do not match up.   its like they didnt make a sample or something.
its a shame b/c the designs are so cool

Could not have put it better myself.

I had the same issue when I ordered my hoodie last year, and it came way too fucking late, as well as being 2 sizes smaller than what they said 2XL would be. The hoods fit like shit, and the hoodie itself was the thickness of a table cloth.


I don't mean to hate with the following comment. Just offering up a story.

they're stationed out of boulder, and I live in boulder. One day a buddy and I decided "hey their shirts are real cheap right now, lets swing by their warehouse and ask If we can order them online and pick them up here since the shipping is WAYY too high." Mind you Lesh was in Asia and not there (don't know if that makes a difference). The dude working there said there was no chance. It makes sense but at the same time so did our idea. I should not have to pay $10 or whatever it was to have them shipped to me 4 min away.

again I don't mean to hate with that story, just take from it what you will.

Oh and I have a First Drop shirt. /hyporcite

But if I had one good thing to say about First Drop it is that their shirts fit really really well for tall skinny people and are pretty dope.

FD is trying and im pretty sure there legit, they just needd some things to work on

i think everyone is complaining because FD so got so popular so fast and they expect perfect outerwear from a very NEW company, ill give them one more year and if they dont change there crap....

It's really not that hard to make good jackets. They were dumb to make their stuff insulated. Shells are all around better. Also I call bullshit on their "20/20" waterproofing. They did a a shitty job.
