A .07 or a .007?

I thought you had to at least blow a .02 to get charged with underaged drinking.

dude if you even blow a .00000000000001 thats underage drinking. they dont give a flying fuck about how much youve drinken, if its in your system you are charged with underage drinking

If I blew a .007 i'd tell them I had mouthwash.

Underage kids can blow a .02 because of things like mouthwash.

my friend blew less then a .02 he blew a .01 and they still charged him.

It's different state to state. For example, here in Washington, to get a minor DUI you need to blow a .02, but in California they have a zero tolerance law for minors.

As for pics or it didn't happen, ever heard of a police record? Of course I don't expect him to have a fucking picture of the device.

At some point, he will receive, or should have already received, copies of the documents pertaining to the charges levied against him. Granted, I'm a winner at life and have never gotten a DUI, but I'm gonna assume that somewhere on them, there will be a statement of what his BAC was.

And I know this is going to sound crazy, but here's an idea. If you don't want to be charged with an underage DUI, don't get behind the wheel of a fucking car after you've had alcohol and/or pot!

It's simply fucking amazing how much more difficult it becomes to charge someone with a crime if they didn't commit said crime.

whoa whoa whoa....let's not kid ourselves here.

i smoke all the time and drive after smoking quite often. sure it makes us drive slower, but the fact is that weed slows you down in all ways. slower reflexes, more tired, not paying as much attention, all sorts of things that make you a less safe driver. never ever fool yourself into thinking that you are an equally safe or more safe driver when you are high.

that being said, i've had friends who have been breathalyzed for fun and blew a .07 or .08 and they said it's scary that it's completely legal to drive at around that level. so it's not like the law completely forbids you from driving when youre under the influence whatsoever

IT depends a lot on the person too honestly. Some of my friends would recline the seats, turn the music up and weave back and forth. Some would drive fast, some would drive slow.

I'd drive like a saint. The speed limit, in my lane, paying super careful attention to everything. I'm just a cautious person though. Smoking and drinking def alter the way yo respond but to a certain extent if you're paying attention and cautious you aren't any worse off.

you're right, but i don't think you can honestly say that smoking doesn't impair, despite the fact that you may be able to handle it (i feel like you would agree with me on that one?).


and they weren't drunk at .07, what they were saying was just that you could feel it a bit and some people are shitty enough drivers when they're completely sober.

yeah i agree with you. It's one of those things that if you're driving like shit and you're high or drinking on top of that they should get you for it.

IF you're a little high or right around the legal limit driving fucking perfect, and the cops are just out looking for people, I think that shits dumb.

Same goes for the cell phone thing. I use it all the time, but driving comes first. I focus on the road and what's around me, everything else comes second. People are incredibly bad drivers as it is, then you have some dumb bitch on a cell phone running people over. I've drive 150k+ miles since I got my license. A good amount of that was winter driving in the mountains where I live. Only had one accident and that was because I had to borrow my moms minivan to go to work instead of my car. Freezing rain storm where everybody was in ditches, going dumb slow the whole way but with a shit vehicle like that, even at 2 miles an hour if you're going down a hill you're fucked, no way to correct it. Bumped into a guardrail and fucked up the bumper and side a little bit.

I wish they would just make the driving tests more difficult/target shitty drivers instead of going after everyone. The amount of absolutely horrible driving I've seen scares me. Some chick drove us to the movies from a college and drove on the shoulder for 5 or 6 miles. Like her fucking left tire was just over the white line. Not swerving, just fucking driving there.

Bad drivers make me want to throw old cabbage and rocks at their faces.

Fair enough, and I agree that a .007 is obviously not drunk as you mentioned in the other post, but he did get charged with DUI so if he is going to try to fight it that's more reason to get a lawyer in my opinion.

as for a police record, im sure he will receive one and it will state that he was pulled over and arrested for driving with a blood alcohol over 0.0, thus qualifying as a dui
