High School Baseball State Championship

So yeah CT had a big state championship this year... two great teams. i live in southington (the town that "lost") basically there was an extremely dumb call that was made at home plate. Our starting pitcher that will be playing for the Reds next year (no minors) hit a shot all the way down the third base line to win the game i guess that wasn't true... newington came back to win the game....

please read the article and tell me what you think... o and by the way we did some research and found out that the umpire was born raised and is currently living in the "winning" teams town...possibly ironic?

Yeah i honestly can gurantee bull shit on this. No one is hardly ever pulled up immediately from highschool or college ball with out going through the minors. That is bull shit teams want their players to be able to know what its like to play 150+ games a year travelling working their arm everyday. Going from high school where you play maybe 12-13 regualr season games to a major league team that plays about 170 a year is stupid. the kid won't know how to keep from throwing out his arm. I'd love to know the pitchers name so you can prove me wrong but until then I'm calling major major bullshit. Oh and i have experience my sisters boyfriend is danny duffy (/claim) he was the best pitcher in the minors since he started single A four years ago worked his way up through those four years to triple A and was called up this year to start pitching for the royals. He has started a few games and is doing fairly well. But my friend again I'd love to know this kids name so you can in fact prove me wrong til then you lost the fucking game thats baseball bad calls are made that ruin games that are much more important than a state championship in connecticut. so cry about it some more. And again post the pitchers name so we can all see who he is and if in fact by some crazy measure is going immediately from highschool ball to the major leagues. i say no.

damn thats complete bullshit. from the pictures he had half his foot on the plate. and you dont just miss home plate at a time like that. you just dont. the ump probably was like uuugghhh uuugghh "hes out" just cuz he was getting called out on something that he missed. it happens.
