So a gal friend of mine wants me to hook her up with a beanie. I have made many striped hats, and I made an awesome checker/stripe hat with 3X3 squares. Plus, my new hook makes my stitchwork more than perfect.
Bear in mind, this is a rough concept. I am only using the grid for the mountains really, so the stripes might line up differently.
The grey/white/black squares are a color-changing yarn, and the tiles that alternate are actually a strand of each color stitched together for each stripe.
