Street league skateboarding

It literally pisses me off. It's not what skateboarding is about. They have slap dick announcers who don't know anything about skating at the first stop of the tour I tuned in for about five minutes, the skater did a nollie noseslide down a hubba. The announcer said "there goes a nose pop nose grinder." I got pissed off and changed the channel. Skateboarding isn't supposed to be in some cookie cutter park in a stadium with low attendance, it's supposed to be you, your skateboard, and some concrete. Fuck the commercialism of this bullshit. Here's some real skating. /Rant

agreed as long as there are guys in every sport who stay true to what its really about the sport will stay alive. Team pup n suds style.

malto did like 8 variations of the same trick in the final round and was scoring high each time. the judging was a little off if you ask me

yeah it can go with a lot sports too. One new sport thats's starting to get televised is mll (major league lacrosse) and they actually have former players being announcers. So not all newish sports on tv are shit.

other dude is sal masakala from xgames.

felix knows a lot about skateboarding and sal is there cause hes got the commentating reputation from X.

street league sick. the concept and the event itself is awesome.

I know who felix arguelles is and Idk who the announcer was who said it but i know they said it. The concept is sick but in my opinion its anti skateboarding and its not what skateboarding is about I don't think any contest is skateboarding. It's about style and fun and creativity.

yeah because you know that style, fun and creativity can't exist in skateboarding at all if they have comps... are you fucking retarded? you don't want contests that give considerable amounts of money to skateboarders that risk it WAY harder than you ever will to push the sport? in other words, you're against money and exposure going into skateboarding and that makes YOU anti-skateboarding. pull your head out of your ass. did you watch this contest and was not entertained by the insanity being thrown down? oh yeah that's right you were probably too busy being pissed off at some stupid judging. how about this, instead of being against the street league, be against the judging and be stoked for the skaters, you fuck.

ive been watching skiing pipe and heard "double flare elevenhundred (1100)" when infact it was a cork 9 or something.

fuck off you pussy. this kid needs to realize how dumb the whole keeping "core" bullshit really is. that's fine if you don't want to be sponsored, i don't care but to not even be good enough to do that and to say that comps. are BAD for skateboarding then well... you just need to fuck off with your opinion. you're just a flaming poser at that point because any real skater, core or not, would agree that if someone who loves to skate finds a way to make a living off it, is a GOOD thing. sponsors are just your bosses instead of the owner or manager of a business... all the while giving you sick skating to watch on cable.
