Suggestions for purchasing a T2i

I'm looking to pick up a Canon T2i within the next week. New or used, but i'm looking for your suggestions on where to purchase it. b and h? ebay? etc.

also, any good lens suggestions would be much appreciated

Just buy a refurbished body from the website and save up for a better lens.

To my knowledge the reburbished bodies are sold out. You could probably find one on ebay for around 650 but just be careful. As far as lenses go, the Tamron 17-50 is a great lens. Its super sharp and decently fast. And you can find them for around 350 if you look.

Get it refurbished direct from canon, that's the cheapest it is $560 and canons reliable. The camera will look and function like its new.

Just keep looking out for a refurbished one they go out of stock and in stock quite often. Just got mine yesterday.

i've been looking around, canon is sold out of refurbished and same with most other sites. Anyone purchase one recently from an online shop and have everything work out?

I havent got to test mine yet, Waiting for SD cards, but i turned it on and seems that everything is brand new

Buy a broken canon film camera from thrift store for $2
Call canon ask about their loyalty refurbishing upgrading program.
Send the broken camera.
Get mad discount on refurbished t2i.


OR

Get the t2i kit with 18-135IS lens

You'll get the regular t2i kit plus an extra battery and the 18-135IS lens instead of the 18-55.
Sell the 18-135IS for $400.

Buy a canon 50mm f/1.8 for $100
Buy a tokina 10-17 f/3.5-4.5 for $300
