I've made it a life goal to get my BASE Number before i die.
for you who dont know what that is, you get a number(sequential order) if you jump off of the 4 BASE objects :
B - Building
A - Antennae
S - Spans (bridges)
E - Earth (cliffs)
BASE #1 was awarded to Phil Smith of Houston, Texas in 1981. The 1000th
application for a BASE number was filed in March 2005 and BASE #1000 was
awarded to Matt Moilanen of Kalamazoo, Michigan. As of October 2010, over 1,400 BASE numbers have been issued. id imagine the number is probably over 2k now.
