NYC summer blues

Live in SI. Started skiing last season, developed a sick crave for it. No skier friends. Really eager to do something skiing-related this summer. No room for a tramp or summer setup. Any ideas?

Find a gymnastics club near you, go do drop in one night. Its probably like $10 and you can jump into foam pits and do backflips for hours.

I live in NYC
But NYC is one of the best non skiing cities to live in. There is shit to do 24/7.

Most places have a website or google maps entry, you should be able to find something.

I go to a parkour gym out in Nassau County, it's pretty good, nice foam pit and whatnot.
Aside from that, though, ski movies I guess.

Np lol. Usually decent, have the pit all to yourself, but sometimes you get kids there, so try to avoid that lol.

My sister just moved to NYC for an internship from school.

Her neighborhood is all to sketchy though. On one side of her building is the Colombia University campus, on the other is a Hispanic neighborhood complete with gangbangers and Mexican resturants.

Ha. mexican restaurants?! Upper west side sure is gnarly. I used to live next to the Albany projects in Crown Heights Brooklyn.
