MOA is right on the light rail line from the airport, shouldn't be more than a 5min ride.
There is so much to do there, sadly no ski shops, but there is Oakley, they usually have goggles and outerwear. There's a theme park, aquarium there and a waterpark close by. There's also any resturaunt that you could really want and a movie theater...and lego land.
Ikea is near by...you could sleep there
Downtown is on the rail line as well, lots of shit to do there...its a city, there's pretty much anything you want there. Just search for concerts or clubs or something.
If you can bum a ride (and some skis) over to east St. Paul you can ski on Summit Boardshop's dry slope.
Thats about all I can think of thats really within distance for you
go long boarding in minneapolis and surrounding area
go to dinky town or uptown
go fishing
go bicycling
go to MOA
go to pinewskis board shop. they're cool guys
go ski summit board shops back yard jib thing.
go to a sports bar and watch sports while getting drunk
go explore abandoned warehouses
go to duluth
go skate
there's lots of stuff to do.
