Critique my edit

this is the first time I've actually tried to edit anything, so its naturally pretty bad, but any comments, criticisms are all greatly appreciated. Hate, love, eheath, all welcome ITT.

My advice to you is to get rid of the Blind 2's title that came up. Also shorten the shot of the guy in red laying on the snow. For a first edit it wasn't bad at all. Good editing and the song seemed to fit nicely.

maybe get closer to the action and try some transitions between videos..... but never forget to have fun ;)

use more angles, then there wont be as much repetition. other than that, good edit!

get closer on your shots and try to make the length of them not last to long, there was to much time on the beggining of some shots. also, a stabalizer would help, monopod/tripod. music kinda bored me but was overall sick for a first edit

Yeah i agree with this, while filming get closer to the action seemed pretty far away. For a first edit that was quite nice.

No no no no no, only use transitions when necessary, not randomly or on every clip.

So as summer came to an end I realized I hadn't seshed my friends summer setup very much, but I still wanted to make an edit, as well as to test out Sony Vegas, which I recently got. So I threw together this one pretty quick, and I decided to bump this old thread instead of creating a new one. Comments/critiques please, keep it related to the editing, I didnt film this so obv there are somethings I dont like...
