Alright a couple weeks ago my friend crashed in my car, 2001 Outback, he messed the body work up good. I need to paint it i want Flat black or olive drag aka the army truck color. Will this draw to much attention to my car, police etc. I plan on going to across the boarder to Canada will the paint be to over the top ?

People might double take to see the design. Unless you write "ILLEGAL DRUGS INSIDE" on it, you shouldn't attract any attention.

i would worry more about making it not look like shit if you're planning on painting it yourself. i wanted to paint my car on my own too cus lets face it im broke as fuck. i made a thread and the replies/what i had seen after doing a bit of research showed that it is supposedly quite difficult to make it look good

Definitely this. actually applying the paint is difficult because it takes lots of practice to get an even coat, and this is if you have the right equipment.......doing it with spray paint or something would be that much more difficult.
A friend of mine learned in his dad's mechanic shop and he said it takes awhile to get the correct technique down, and this is with the professional equipment.

can't help but agree with this. i would just wait and save up the money to have it done by a real shop. doing it yourself will make it look like hellen keller got access to spray cans and spend a night decorating your car.
