Addicted to Weed

ok so i know everyone says its not an addictive drug but i dont exactly agree with them. Currently i feel addicted to weed. Ive been smoking for about 5 years and this recent year ive probably smoked every day atleast once (S.W.E.D). this last month ive been trying to ween myself off weed and try to slow down but ive been noticing that its hard as fuck and most mornings i wake up feeling sad and not able to face the day. Now dont get me wrong, i have good friends and a hot girlfriend, im not some anti social kid who has a miserable life but i feel like weed has become part of my life. I still want to smoke, just less because its very bad for your lifestyle/lungs and i dont smoke cigarettes like some dumbass trying to fit in.

so what do i do? i feel stuck because i need to move forward

and feel free to share your thoughts and advice on marijuana and such. any help is good help so +k

You should just stop to get your tolerance down. I smoke for 2-3 months then I take 1 or 2 weeks off. Then smoke for another 2-3 months.

its all psychological, people tell themselves they are depressed and get depressed. people say they are addicted to ganja and they get addicted. man up and face your fears, and tell yourself you arent addicted

drug test for a job. i was going to college this last winter, and now want some money and a job. the job is a really good job at an outdoors store similar to rei. its definintly worth it. ill be changing my smoking schedule to "work mode" smoking. basically i only smoke at night after work or on my days off. never smoke during work hours or before work hours. being stoned at work isnt cool.

Not really. But I just wanted to say respect for not smoking at work. I worked at a ski resort part time last winter and errbody was stoned. One of the sous chefs in the higher class restaurant at the resort was on shrooms while chopping some shit. She didn't cut her hand off or anything but I just think it's not a good idea to be stoned at work.

also a good reason to stop is simply money. the lower your tolerance, the less you have to smoke, the less you have to buy. i wouldnt say stop cold turkey unless you have a reason to(cause it sucks) but i would recommend for a week, every few months backing down to just smoking at night to get to sleep, or just purely vaping and not smoking at all. I do a vape only week every 2-3 months so my lungs can clear out and my tolerance can drop a little bit. the first smoke you do after a week of only vaping will get you a lot more ripped than the vape will get you guaranteed.
