The Wii U isn't going to come anywhere close though. OS' unless you are talking vista don't take up much ram at all. Sure you have things in the background running but it doesn't amount to a whole lot unless you have useless programs that constantly run. Sure a video game console has less to run but it still has to run things in the background.
I didn't really want to get into that though. I was just saying that if they really wanted to be a "powerhouse" why not go for the best? 6-core and at least 2gb of dedicated graphics processing ram.
