Skype down globally even though heartbeat says it's working. Although skype is reporting that it is a small amount of users effected.

You know those same international phone calls that worked before VoIP still do. Country code for the US is 1, exit code for NZ is 00.

I know man, I didn't have the interviewers phone number, he said he'd find me on skype. Ended up calling me and costing him money, not a good first impression.

At least he called you? I mean he was impressed enough with you to warrant spending that money to talk to you and interview you over the phone... could be a positive?
