A question about the canadian national anthem

im watching the bruins-canucks game and they just finished the national anthems, and i was wondering.. does the canadian anthem have a tune or do you just make it up as you go along each time?

Its acculy a frnch song, it sounds nice in french, but for obvious purposes they translated ton english and it sounds like shit.

I like it better in english personally. And of course it has a tune or it would sound completely different everytime we sang it.

the answer is yes and no, there is a tune you can sing it too, but it is so up to interpretation and done so many different ways that at this point the tune is completly irrelevant to how you sing it

I actually think rene rancourt does a decent job with it, obviously its not as enthusiastic as a vanc, mtl or toronto venue when they sing it....but its well known that we have more canadians on the b's team than any other country and theyre certainly not going to disrespect it in front of those players

i didnt say he disrespected it, i said he butchers it.

he dosnt sing to the beat or tempo at all, hence the initial question of if it is just made up everytime.

watch a canadian sing the anthem and it sounds like an anthem, watch an american sing our anthem and it gets fucked up.

rene's a homo anyways. whats with the fake throwning fists and shit after singing? go out there, dont fall down, sing, then get the fuck off, theres hockey to be played.
