Help skiing eastern Canada...

Hey this is will be my last season here before I'm off to the U of Utah, and needed some help with eastern Canada. Every year my dad and I go take a freeskiing trip somewhere for 3-4 days in a different part of the US or Canada. This season we think we're going to eastern Canada, and neither of us have any experience with that area. So I was wondering; what are some good mountains to hit up? Is there any mountains in that area that have a verticle of over like 1500+ feet? Any info, suggestions, or reviews of areas would be greatly appreciated.

Le Massif:
If I remember correctly, 2 hours north of Quebec City. Most vertical in the east, steep, sick east coast trees, and boot top powder isn't unheard of. Awesome views of the St. Lawrence, as well as amazing and expensive food. I've been there a couple of times, and it's fun. Terrain park wasn't open when I went, but I'm pretty sure they don't really have one. You won't miss it though. Google it for more info.

I've been out west and all over the east. Eastern Canada is just an area I've never seen and wanted to.

ok, tremblant is actually mostly english, because of intrawest wanting to attract outside tourists like yourself. as for the other hills, id say theyre mostly french.

Yes, you'll run into a lot of French around St Anne, Stoneham, etc. But so long as you try some french, and use common words like Bonjour, Merci, etc, and make some kind of effort with the language, you'll do fine. Most people will have some english knowledge, so you'll be more than able to understand each other. The chances of running into people who'll hate you cuz you're english are low. Just don't be an ignorant jerk.
