lol at your astounding logic, how about pro skiers? should they stop doing what they love and work a 9to5 job so they can afford a nice car and a nice house?

+all these ppl probably have a fixed job already, slacklining is one of those things you can do anywhere, except maybe in the middle of the ocean or a desert .....

i've still never been on a gibbon line, but 1" tubular webbing and carabiners work great

There is a cult if anyones interested in slacklining, but its sort of dead and never took off to big but it would be cool if it were more active, and there is info on how to put your kit together in it as well

after having used a slackline at my climbing wall for a while i finally decided to go out and buy a gibbon. Loads of fun. So easy to set up. However I would recommend finding someone you know who has one and trying it out before buying one. It's not as easy as it looks and it took me a few hours of practice until I could walk the whole line.

slacklining is so much fun. It helps mad with balance and air sense too, so that's good for skiing and pretty much any sport. I slackline like everyday, starting to be able to stay on it for as long as i want, flipping off of the line too.

anything done on a 2 inch line isnt really slacklining in my opinion.
