Trip to Mt. Hood

So me and my friends are planning to go on a trip to Mt. Hood to go ski at timberline's public park that they have there. So my first question is how is timberline's park and is worth it buy a whole day pass of lift rides or just buy one and hike it? my second question is that sense we are all pretty broke, we are looking to save money and not lodge in a hotel and just going to go camp for the time we are there. Is there any good places to camp nearby that wouldn't cost a whole much if any at all to stay?
Any help would be great to this. +k for good responses/-k for stupid remarks

1) searchbar. You can look in the regionals, too.

2) you cannot hike the park without a ticket. You will most likely get caught. So yes, it is worth it. This spring has been very cold, so the snowpack is marvelous.

3) camp at the airstrip for free. Fuck paying for lodging. Once again, look for other threads, because this shit has been discussed ad nauseum.

And you buy a day ticket, just like at any other ski area. You don't pay per ride, unless you are sightseeing.

pretty sure it's mostly national forest around there, so you're allowed to camp anywhere.

there is a fire road pulloff from the access road that you can just drive down and camp at. closest your going to get.
