Skiing injured

My local mountain is closing in a month and i injured myself skiing around 10 weeks ago (I lacerated my spleen) and the doctor said to wait 12 weeks before i could ski again. So i was wondering if anyone has skied injured and how it worked out for them, also should i go skiing now or wait two weeks?

wait, its really not worth it. chances are you'd be fine..but you run the risk of making things much worse too.

depends on the injury, I've never hurt an organ. Muscles and bones can be problems though from my experience

i had kidney surgery and went skiing the next weekend. don't push it too hard you'll be fine

I skied with a broken wrist for 5 weeks. One week after breaking it I was back on the slopes. Who gives a fuck. Just ski without poles (ultra gangster steeze!), which actually fucking hard to do and a good exercise, it improved my skiing. Learning how to ski more balanced while not having any poles.

Just don't go in the park. You can shred groomers if you don't fall or don't do anything stupid.
