I hate to be that guy, but I am having some trouble with this question on an assignment and if anyone could help get me started/full on do the question that would be nice.


A hemispherical bowl is filled with water to one-half of its height. Determine the fraction of the bowl that is filled with water.

You need to integrate the area function of the hemisphere and then again with half the height, then you just find the ratio.

Am I supposed to use area or volume, if it is a bowl isn't that implying volume?

How do I even start the integration on this question lol. What is used to plug in for r, just 1 and 1/2?
