they have points but look at the pictures the people are holding up in the background there little hands and thats just the 1st trimester, i think a woman should have i choice but it is something I personally could never ever do.

Abortion should be illegal, no matter what stage in the pregnancy, you have a living human in the womb, if you kill it, there is no doubt in my mind that it should be considered murder.

What I really don't understand is how the first 2 minutes of the clip is a pro-choice man arguing against a pro-life woman. How could any woman really be against the right to chose? It seems so silly to me - if that pro-life woman was raped or told that her life would be endangered if she didn't chose to abort, do you really think she would chose to keep the baby? I really don't think that abortion should be used as a form of birth control, but it's just not right to tell a woman what she can/can't do with her body especially if there are psychological, physiological, or financial factors attached to her decision.

That said some of these pro-lifers make it sound like women go out and have abortions for shits and gigs - do they really think that women who decide to have an abortion haven't already torn themselves up emotionally? I can't imagine it being an easy decision to make in any situation.

in the end people are going to do what they want, and for as long as people are getting prego they are going to want abortions so it kinda doesnt matter what happens with this issue because they will continue to be used. similar concept see: prohibition of alcohol in the united states.

If you're getting an abortion, clearly you dont want the kid. I think it's better to do that than be stuck raising a child you don't want or cant raise properly, for whatever reason. I'd rather see a 15 year old girl get an abortion, learn from her mistake, and go on to become a productive member of society than her have the kid, drop out of school, struggle to raise it both financially and emotionally, and mooch off the government forever. Adoption is an option, but it certainly doesn't always work out for the best, plus it still requires the girl actually carrying through with the pregnancy which has it's own consequences. Further, and I kind of hate to pull this card, but unless you have a uterus I don't really think your opinion matters here. You're not the one who has to worry about it when all's said and done. You could just walk away. It's the girl's problem, and therefore, ultimately her choice.

Plus, making it illegal will only lead to girls going out of the country or trying some crazy home do it yourself abortions.

I'm not saying abortion is the right answer for everyone, but it should definitely be an option.

Abortion should  be 100% perfectly legal. You own the rights to your body, you can do whatever like. Whether it be getting a tattoo, selling yourself for sex or getting an abortion.

It should be completely your decision and you should be able to do what you want.

So true. It's a woman's body having to go through pregnancy, therefore it should be her choice. I'm definitely pro choice, any circumstance where a woman feels like she shouldn't have or is unable to raise a child (or something like rape, severe disabilities, etc) then she has every right to an abortion. Like was said before, if made illegal, likely from come conservative men who don't know what they are talking about, then women and girls will go to more dangerous methods to have an abortion anyway. Sure it's a life, but it's more like a parasite then a person, and couldn't live on it's own without a uterus, placenta, etc, and thus is the mother's choice whether she wants something feeding off of her for the next 9 months, followed by another 18 of childcare. To be honest, there are a lot of people who shouldn't be parents for a variety of reasons, so if there is an opportunity to not be a terrible parent then it should be taken.
Men shouldn't even have a say on the issue, unless they suddenly develop the ability to get pregnant like that Arnold Schwartzenagger movie from the 90s.

Western Canada high School., here in calgary had a fundraiser for the homeless which my brother ran , and pro-life came to fucking just for the media attention, i honestly will be getting into a fucking debate with these guys when i see them here in calgary

first, to anyone using the terms "killing" or "murder", just stop. you are turning it into a moral issue so you can make your point with out using any facts. abortion is a social issue, and a medical procedure, not murder.

I find it funny that conservatives are pro-life, yet they don't support social programs that provide pre-natal care, and support for young mothers. they want the mom to have a baby, but wont help her support it, when they know that she can't. this is really bad for the well being of society, we can't have parent's that don't do anything for their children, and leave it to their two year old to get by from day to day.

woman should have the choice to have kids. lets look at the case of an 18 year old who finds her self pregnant. if she has the baby, she can forget about going to college and making her life; she will be tied down by the moral and financial responsibility that is raising children. if she were to get an abortion, she could go on to college, get an education, start a career, and have children at a later point in her life; a point in her life where she can provide for her children, and is mature enough to raise children. this would be much better for the mom, the children, and society as a whole.

This is true. It really depends on what type of person you are. Some take responsibility for their actions and meet adversity head on in attempt to live their live in a moral/just/ethical way. Others consider their self interest too important to let an accident get in the way and some just aren't ready for the responsibility. It is your choice, but regardless of your choice you are killing something, it just depends on how you feel about killing things. We do it everyday.

I just think if you want it done it should all come out of your own pocket.
