Replying to HDSLR advice - shooting music festivals

Any video enthusiasts out there willing to give me a few words of advice? Ive got some work lined up this summer to shoot music festivals and clubs primarily doing photo stuff, but they also want me to do a bit of video work - which I've never done much of. What kind of equipment is standard for this kind of thing? I shoot with a Canon 60d and I know I need more to go with it. A mic? A light? And pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated.
