Backflips on tramps help plz

Ok well last summer I learned how to do backflips and I was pretty good at them. So in winter i couldnt practice and now when I do backflips I launch myself realy realy far and I usualy land on the springs or on the ground and now im scared to just try one. Does anyone have any pointers??
PS. Ive searched on the search bar and didnt find what i was looking for. Help would be appreciated. thx

First of all, the kid is asking for help. The fucking nerds who are saying 'don't be a pussy' is what is wrong with this site. If you don't have some fucking advice then don't fucking reply. As for his question, I did the same thing a few years back and broke my wrist. As has been noted ^ the pop is very important. Jump up first then flip back quickly.

jump hard and kick your knees up and tilt back, it's hard to get the courage to first do it but then once you go a few times it gets better. don't try straight backflips at first, it'll send you right off the tramp

Jump straight up and throw your upper body at the waist straight back. Once you see the ground, or the tramp, that is, tuck your knees into your chest to finish the rotation. ON a tramp, you don't have to throw it as hard as you think. And you don't have to jump as high as you can, even just a couple feet if you are scared and then start building on it.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

well if you are doign a backflip and landing further back then where you started try doing more of a gainer, that should correct it. I'm assuming you are using the tramp more than you need to to do the backflip, jump straight up and then initiate. But yeh try doing them more forward, and eventually you will figure it out somehwere in the middle.

all u have to do i jump up b4 starting the rotation. My friends had trouble with this too. Just get to the top of ur jump, then lean back.

KLD is right on there you must pop then set the rotation i had a little trouble with them a year or so ago but you neede the pop first then you wount go back

just stand a foot away from the edge with your back facing the springs. pop backwards while rotating forward (trust me), and try to get your back to land on the edge of the tramp.

ok dude i had this prob 2, just stand in the middle so u get the best pop, then just jump straight up, and then at the top of ur jumpflip ur head and pull ur knees above ur head grab ur knees then bring it around, guannentee u will get ur backs doing that

jump up more instead of back. jumping back just throws u all wierd places. but if you jump straight up, and then flip, it's easier to spot ur landing and stuff
