I've got to get a ski within the week so I'm trying to decide between Icelantic Danollies, Scott punisher Jibs, Lib Tech Nas Jib
Of course everyone is just going to post they the skis they like but in the end I can base my decision off of what the majority of the people think is the better ski by seeing which is more popular...
I just got the 08/09 Da'Nollies last season, but they are really sick skis. Pretty buttery and poppy, I just wish I could have gotten the 180s, I was stuck gettin 170s because of the sale.
I demoed next years for a few runs and did not like them very much compared to my current ones. They made the new ones much stiffer, and it's harder to turn.
that and you havent even told us anything about yourself to help you make your decision.
Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum,
What might be right for you, may not be right for some.
A man is born, he's a man of means.
Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.
But they got, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Everybody's got a special kind of story
Everybody finds a way to shine,
It don't matter that you got not alot
So what,
They'll have theirs, and you'll have yours, and I'll have mine.
And together we'll be fine....
Because it takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Yes it does.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
they are soft.. being an owner i really enjoyed the da nollies (granted i have the 2009/2010 models) but after a year of solid abuse they softened up too much for me to use at all, never had a problem with edges or anything durability wise but they just got so damn soft i dont even ride them anymore. I like a stiff ski though it may be personal preference. If you want a ski to hold up on jumps get something stiffer, the scotts, or lib tech who actually makes a great ski. If you want butters and jibs go da nollies or t halls. Personally i think the thalls would be a good blend.
Like i said these were the 09 model so im not sure if the new ones with the beefed up waist are stiffer. But they started out with a pretty good flex and got progressively softer until i felt that they were too unstable. This is just my opinion i really hate soft skis, so for some other people it might not be such a big deal. Obviously if you want to jib, butter, and slide rails then it will be a good choice.
