i'm really upset that his stint with the celtics didn't work out. he's just too old and too beat up to be of help. if he was healthy, Boston very well could be playing for a championship right now.

i think my favorite recent shaq moment was when he was dressed up as Beyonce singing in his car. Honestly, he probably has the greatest personality of any professional athlete right now. I don't know of one person that doesn't like shaq as a person. If he stays around the game, he can certainly do well for himself or another team from a public/fan relations stand point.

LBJ can lick my balls and Shaq can have all my money. I loved watching him play and he was easily the most dominant player in the NBA. No one could stop him in his prime and it was still hard to stop him in his decline.

Maybe 2002 WCF was rigged, but I don't believe in that stuff, it's childish. The Blazers choked and that's it. Rasheed Wallace missed 2 free throws at the end, 2!!!! Kobe made an amazing shot, crossed over Pippen who was too old and backdoored it to Shaq. Blazers took bad contested shots, and that's the end of that story. The refs didn't play too much of a part in the last 2 minutes.

Finally, the Big Shamrock, the Shaqtus are done, good ridaince, i will always be a celtics fan, but i hate that they got shaq and traded off perkins, was never a fan of that trade and will never be a fan.

i hope your not saying they traded perk for shaq because that's not correct at all. The celtics traded perk and robinson to OKC for jeff green and nenad kristic. they then somehow acquired troy murphy, i forget from where though.

no. He's saying they traded Perkins because they thought Shaq would be healthy by then and then had no need for another Center. They did the trade to get future talent in Jeff Green, but Shaq couldn't play, and then the C's didn't have any decent centers

alright just making sure. i really think Jeff Green could mesh well with the celtics in the future, and i like that they could build the team around Rondo, but Nenad Kristic? he's a stiff haha. I really thought Jermaine stepped his game up in the playoffs, but clearly he and KG weren't enough.
