the generic imovie titles are getting old.
is there some sort of title maker software?

Nah, there is but most people use After Effects, Motion or Live Type to make external titles. I end up doing my in FCP and getting a little creative.

Check out this website to download more fonts for your computer, you can use these in iMovie, Word, or whatever.

1001free fonts is the shit. I like doing my titles all under the motion tab in fcp. It's pretty simple and modest but year surpasses your typical moviemaker text
