i think other complex forms of life exist but to evolve as far as we have the conditions have to be nearly perfect and a good deal of luck has to be present i think there are some other forms of life but not that many more

Bristolrider-If there is a parallel universe where only one thing is different, it could be possible that everything in existence. Imagine everytime something happens in your life out of pure luck/chance and that changes your life. Well, it's going to affect your children's lives and probably the people surround you at the time. For example, you just happened to sit next to someone in some class one day because some other bunghole has taken your regular seat. You start talking to this girl because class sucks like always...eventually you fall in love, get married and have kids. Had that asswipe not taken your seat that one day in class, every day of your life afterwards would have been completely different.

If you think about it, the world could be a completely different place.

I doubt life is somewhere else in our galaxy. in our universe there might be other life, but i'm positive there is life in other universes and dimensions. quantum mechanicanics prove it. if you know quantum mechanics then you know that every possiblity needs to happen (like crazy stuff like walking through walls, left is right, time is backwards) so different possibilities occur in different dimensions. its such a crazy concept.

Well if you deny that there are other living creatures in our universe right now you have to acknowledge that they could have at least existed in another time. I hate it when I watch shows about the universe and scientists ponder possible planets that could support life throughout the universe. They always looks for conditions similar to ours to decide whether or not a planet could support life which is stupid. If life is/was as spontaneous as it is/was on our planet perhaps on another planet life could form at tempatures about 300 degrees in a co2 rich environment. Even on this planet some life breathes air and some breathes carbon dioxide. Some life eat meat or plants and some eat sunlight. I just think if life has such an ability to adapt (even if you dont believe in evolution you have to believe in adaptation, you can see yourself throughout your own life adapat to new climates,environments,exc) it has to be able to thrive in almost any environment
